A recent trip to New River Gorge National Park led to unexpected stops along the way — small pockets of beauty tucked into every turn.
One of those places was Babcock State Park, a quiet stop just outside Fayetteville. Not a dramatic waterfall or sweeping overlook, but something slower — a reminder that not everything worth seeing needs to be grand.
